HARMONY DAY

Harmony day celebration was held at TAFE on 19th of March. Unfortunately I could't celebrate with my classmates, but my friend Flor told me some students sang songs from other countries. Some of them talk about their experience in Australia. A student from an asian country played a traditional instrument. After that they stood up and sang the Australian National Anthem. Then they also sang the famous song "we are Australian" all together. After that they shared their food and drink.

My classmates really enjoyed Harmony day. I hope next time I will be celebrating with my friends.

LIBRARY INSTRUCTION

As a TAFE student you can borrow books and audio visual items from the TAFE library. You can borrow six books for two weeks and four video items for one week. You can renew the items twice by phone or through the internet. You also can search the library cataloge through the internet.

The library opens from 9am to 8pm Monday to Friday. If you want to photocopy and print in the library you have to take your TAFE card and put some money in to the machine. Normally each photocopy costs twenty cents, but if you are a Student Association member, it will cost half of price.

Yoy can borrow books from other TAFE libriries too. If you need any help to borrow books or other items, staff who work in the library will help you.
